Installation
Installation of SorbaSHOCK™ is simple. A knowledgeable floor installer will be able perform an installation without the need for specialized tools.
Since SorbaSHOCK™ may be used directly over concrete, a moisture test is required. If a standard calcium chloride test yields results above 5.0 lbs., the concrete should be sealed with a standard moisture sealant. Then, the SorbaSHOCK™ tiles are adhered to the concrete using an approved single component urethane adhesive. Finally, commercial carpet or vinyl floor covering is installed over SorbaSHOCK™.
